This report is a key supervisory publication that shares observations and good practices for the management of climate- and nature-related (C&N) risks. It illustrates different ways in which significant institutions could strengthen their risk management, particularly in light of the ECB Guide and the EBA Guidelines on the management of ESG risks.
With this compendium, the ECB aims to respond to institutions’ requests for detailed insight into how others have designed specific risk management processes and procedures for C&N risks and how they have addressed some of the challenges relating to C&N risks.
