The Payments Association is a signatory to the Women in Finance Charter. This is a commitment by HM Treasury and signatory firms to work together to build a more balanced and fair industry, reflecting the government’s aspiration to see gender balance at all levels across financial services firms.
Payments Association headline numerical target for gender diversity in senior management:
Target is to continue to achieve at least 50% women in senior management positions by December 2023.

We mentor our non-board directors, 100% of which are currently female, and this includes CPD. We do not gender discriminate in recruitment but recognise the benefits of a balanced team. We continue to support the career development of all staff, encouraging them to apply for internal promotion as positions become available.
