Currently, our ranks include professionals from major banks such as NatWest, Santander, Nationwide, fintech innovators, and consulting firms. Here’s the best part – there’s no membership fee, and we don’t have a strict dress code. However, we are in the process of designing sleek Lycra shirts featuring our logo, the logos of our founding members, and our first shirt sponsor, www.letskipp.com.
We stay connected through WhatsApp, making it easy to stay in the loop. If you’re ready to join us on this exciting journey, please contact Gordon at [email protected] to have your name and number added to our WhatsApp group. The Payments Peddlers – where cycling meets community, and every pedal stroke brings positive change to the world. Join us today, and let’s ride towards a brighter tomorrow together.
In the intricate web of payments professionals, we’re the ones who keep the UK economy thriving. Whether we’re part of the financial giants or the innovative fintech startups, our days are often consumed by the nuances of transactions, regulatory frameworks, and intricate process maps. But here’s the thing – amidst all the industry jargon, it’s crucial to remember that every payment journey is a lifeline for real people.
Behind every transaction, there’s a family managing their budget, parents raising their children, individuals staying active, adventurers planning their dream vacations, and friends reconnecting. In the world of payments, we found a common thread – our love for cycling.
And this love inspired us to create something remarkable.
Enter the Payments Peddlers – a group of passionate cyclists, mainly favouring the sleek, skinny-wheel road bikes. We’re not just payments professionals; we’re also members or friends of The Payments Association. Our mission? To ride together, raising funds for causes that truly matter while embracing the joy of cycling.
One such noble cause that has captured our hearts is the Trussell Trust. They tirelessly work to combat poverty through their extensive network of food banks across the UK, serving those in need through their 1,300 locations. Knowing that many of their clients face challenges accessing the financial system, we’ve made it our mission to support inclusion and participation in something many of us take for granted – access to financial services.
At the core of the Payments Peddlers is a vibrant community driven by volunteers. We come together to fundraise for causes close to our hearts, all while keeping our bodies fit and our spirits high. Our activities range from casual meet-ups in picturesque locations like Richmond Park or Richmond Yorkshire, where we enjoy invigorating rides followed by coffee and cake.
But that’s not all. We also participate in organised events and cyclosportives both across the UK and possibly even Europe. Our next big adventure? Assembling a team for the White Horse Challenge in Oxfordshire, scheduled for April 21st, 2024. You’ve got ample time to prepare and saddle up!

Sometimes our e-mails end up in spam. Make sure to check your spam folder for e-mails from The Payments Association
Most modern e-mail clients now separate e-mails into different tabs. For example, Outlook has an “Other” tab, and Gmail has tabs for different types of e-mails, such as promotional.
For security reasons the link will expire after 60 minutes. Try submitting the login form again and wait a few seconds for the e-mail to arrive.
The link will only work one time – once it’s been clicked, the link won’t log you in again. Instead, you’ll need to go back to the login screen and generate a new link.
Make sure you’re clicking the link on the most recent e-mail that’s been sent to you. We recommend deleting the e-mail once you’ve clicked the link.
Some security systems will automatically click on links in e-mails to check for phishing, malware, viruses and other malicious threats. If these have been clicked, it won’t work when you try to click on the link.
For security reasons, e-mail address changes can only be complete by your Member Engagement Manager. Please contact the team directly for further help.
