Nico Barawid

Nico is a serial entrepreneur, having most recently co-founded Tunic Pay, a fintech startup based in London solving payments fraud. Tunic Pay has been highlighted as a top fintech startup by Sifted and Business Insider; its APIs power safer real-time payments by allowing banks to prevent scams.

Prior to Tunic Pay, he was the CEO & co-founder of Casai, one of Latin America’s largest real estate startups with headquarters in Mexico City and São Paulo, which he sold in 2023. He has appeared in several lists as a top entrepreneur to watch and is a widely published columnist, speaker, and podcast guest in the US, UK, and LatAm. Across both companies, he has raised about $60m in venture financing from top tier global investors.

Nico began his career as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group’s Miami and Dubai offices. He holds a BA in economics from Yale and a MPP from Oxford.
