Carol Buttle

Dr Carol Buttle heads up the Certification, Assurance and Security team for DSIT’s Digital Identity. She is an experienced security and assurance specialist with a focus on cryptographic solutions in secure comms, counter terrorism and IA. Carol has many years’ experience delivering complex solutions for government, defence, law enforcement and industry, identifying emerging threats and risk profiles within multiple attack scenarios. Combining Information Assurance and Security Architecture skills she has successfully deployed projects where the identification and implementation of diverse and alternative design considerations has been paramount and require successful certification and accreditation.
