Andrei is an Advisor at the BIS Innovation Hub London Centre, leading innovation projects in payments technology, financial crime compliance and artificial intelligence. BIS Innovation Hub works with central banks around the world to foster international collaboration on innovative financial technology. Andrei led project Hertha, which applied AI to identifying financial crime patterns in real-time retail payment systems.
Andrei was previously at the Bank of England, leading development of policies and products to support technology innovation in payments and settlement service.
