Project Regulator commends the Payment Systems Regulator’s decision to postpone the deadline for implementing Confirmation of Payee. Project Regulator had previously responded to the PSR’s consultation on the general direction on the implementation of Confirmation of Payee; highlighting the perspectives and potential concerns of Payments Association members regarding the timescales of implementation, the organisations that are subject to these requirements, and which highlights how the Payments Association and its members are broadly supportive of the Confirmation of Payee initiative.
