The Bank of England has launched a consultation on proposals to extend RT2 and CHAPS settlement hours (Phase 1).

This 1.5-hour workshop will explore the Bank’s proposal to open CHAPS for settlement from 1:30am on existing settlement days. The consultation seeks feedback from a wide range of stakeholders, including existing and future users of RT2 (the renewed RTGS system with near 24×7 technical capability) and CHAPS (the UK’s high-value payment system).
