Financial Crime 360 Workshop: From autonomous threats to augmented defence: preparing for the age of AI agents

In this AI workshop, we’ll explore two key areas:

1. Risks of agentic commerce
   • • Fraud vectors emerging from autonomous AI agents
     • Oversight challenges – how much should agentic bots do vs what needs human control.
     • Identifying consumer-initiated vs bot-initiated transactions, and what frameworks or regulatory controls might be needed.
2. Skills and oversight in firms
   • • The role of human specialists in training and supervising AI models for fraud, AML, and onboarding and other use cases.
     • Continuous human review as a prerogative to prevent “unchecked” AI use.
     • Developing skill sets – how can financial institutions, regulators, and industry associations support compliance teams.
