Time: 14:30 – 16:00
Location: Online (Zoom – joining details will be shared with registered attendees)
Event overview
The Bank of England has published its latest consultation on systemic stablecoins, and this workshop brings members together to help shape the industry response.
This 90-minute online session will provide a collaborative space for members to share views, test ideas, and contribute directly to the drafting of our formal response to the consultation. The Bank’s proposals will have a significant impact on the future of stablecoins in the UK, and member input is essential to ensure the regulatory framework supports innovation and competitiveness.
We have already been successful in influencing the Bank’s thinking in recent months, but there is still more work to do. This session is an opportunity to make sure outstanding concerns are clearly articulated and reflected in the final submission.
