I am Head of Architecture & Future Technology at Bank of England. I focus on looking at how the next generation of technology, and the generation after that will change financial services. I spend much of my time working on the renewal of central bank digital currency and the renewal of UK RTGS. My background is in engineering, so I like to keep a practical focus while working with those developing policy.
