
Bianca Maria Morandi, Vice President, works at Intesa Sanpaolo in Global Transaction Banking. She firstly joined the team as a Trade Finance Project Manager focusing on the creation of digital client platforms, and later moved to the innovative and fast-growing International Cash Management side, working both on complex treasury projects for Multinational Clients and on the creation of inhouse digital platforms and new products.
She was among the pioneer teams working on SWIFT gpi and represented her Banking Group in the SWIFT Global Working Group. She is also an active participant of the European BA’s Liquidity Management Working Group, an international think tank that creates White Papers for the EBA international community.
Bianca lately has been working with the SWIFT User Group on the Digital Euro project and eagerly awaiting the next phase.
Bianca attended the Faculty of Applied Science at the University of Toronto and her academic experience includes an International Treasury Charter at Cambridge University, Clare College, in 2010. She is fully bilingual (English/Italian), and has a good working knowledge of French and Spanish.
