RelyComply has integrated LSEG’s World-Check On Demand into its AI-driven compliance platform, bringing real-time risk intelligence into screening workflows.

RelyComply has partnered with LSEG Risk Intelligence to embed World-Check On Demand into its AI-driven financial crime compliance platform, giving banks, fintechs, insurers and asset managers real-time access to sanctions, PEP, adverse media and enforcement data directly inside their existing screening and monitoring workflows.

The announcement lands as institutions across South Africa, the UK and other regulated markets face growing pressure to strengthen financial crime controls, demonstrate alignment with FATF recommendations, and keep pace with evolving AML, counter-terrorist financing, and KYC requirements. Industry attention is shifting from simply accessing intelligence to operationalising it—a distinction likely to define the next phase of compliance transformation for many organisations.

World-Check On Demand delivers structured, machine-readable risk intelligence through an API-first architecture, enabling organisations to access sanctions, politically exposed persons, adverse media and enforcement information in real time as part of customer onboarding, screening and ongoing monitoring processes. Integrated into RelyComply’s platform, the data becomes part of a single AI-driven system spanning customer screening, identity verification, enhanced due diligence and ongoing monitoring, with institutions retaining full responsibility for their own risk assessment and decision-making.

“For years, organisations focused on gaining access to more data. Today, the challenge is turning that data into measurable outcomes. Regulators increasingly want evidence that compliance programmes and technology solutions are effective, not simply that they exist,” says Bradley Elliott, CEO of RelyComply. “That expectation extends beyond AML monitoring. Organisations must also demonstrate effective onboarding, due diligence and ongoing risk management. By combining explainable AI-driven capabilities and automation, we help compliance teams manage compliance requirements more efficiently and at scale.

Priya Nallan, head of product, screening, at LSEG Risk Intelligence, says the partnership reflects a broader shift in how the industry uses risk data. “Financial crime compliance is increasingly shaped by the ability to access and operationalise trusted intelligence in real time,” she said. “Through the partnership with RelyComply, we are helping compliance teams access timely, structured intelligence within the processes they already use, supporting more efficient screening, due diligence and ongoing monitoring.”
