The Chancellor’s Mansion House speech, delivered on 16 July 2025, signals a bold shift in the UK’s financial regulatory landscape. According to Chancellor Rt Hon Rachel Reeves MP, the government is “rewiring the financial system to unlock investment, cut red tape, and make the UK the best place to start, grow, and list a company.”
