“We have built a benefits platform that allows financial service companies to add benefits checks to their existing customer journeys and identify customers that might be eligible for benefits but might not know about it.”
Government grants and social payments are one of the best ways to fight back against the cost-of-living crisis. And although these types of financial assistance are accessible to everyone, they’re not being accessed by everyone.
Right now, there are £19 billion worth of unclaimed benefits in the UK; solutions to the cost-of-living crisis that are failing to be seized and applied. InBest is recognising this increasingly missed opportunity and is seeking to reconnect the rightly deserving to the benefits and financial assistance that they’re due.
InBest offers a benefits calculator that works side-by-side with financial firms, welfare advisers and money management apps to join society’s most vulnerable with the financial assistance that’s available to them.
In this latest chapter of our interview series, ‘Cost-of-Living Crisis – How can the payments industry help?’ Project Inclusion’s Jos Henson-Grič sits down with Manuel Peleteiro, the Founder and CEO of InBest, to discuss how his company is on the forefront of alleviating the current crisis.
Manuel shares an invaluable insight into the workings of his company, how it’s designed to offer assistance to those most in need, as well as some of the hurdles it’s had to overcome in order to achieve this goal.

Sometimes our e-mails end up in spam. Make sure to check your spam folder for e-mails from The Payments Association
Most modern e-mail clients now separate e-mails into different tabs. For example, Outlook has an “Other” tab, and Gmail has tabs for different types of e-mails, such as promotional.
For security reasons the link will expire after 60 minutes. Try submitting the login form again and wait a few seconds for the e-mail to arrive.
The link will only work one time – once it’s been clicked, the link won’t log you in again. Instead, you’ll need to go back to the login screen and generate a new link.
Make sure you’re clicking the link on the most recent e-mail that’s been sent to you. We recommend deleting the e-mail once you’ve clicked the link.
Some security systems will automatically click on links in e-mails to check for phishing, malware, viruses and other malicious threats. If these have been clicked, it won’t work when you try to click on the link.
For security reasons, e-mail address changes can only be complete by your Member Engagement Manager. Please contact the team directly for further help.
