Simplified supply & maintenance arrangements of prepaid payment solutions for
central government and the wider public sector

The Payment Solutions framework announced by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is available to all public sector organisations.

The RM3828 framework agreement has been awarded to nine suppliers offering solutions across three lots. These include public sector payment cards to purchase goods and services for public use, prepaid cards and fund disbursements to citizens.

Lot 3 features a range of disbursement options, including cash vouchers represented as unique barcodes distributed by SMS, email or encoded to cards. Vouchers can be delivered direct to individuals or through distribution points for the most vulnerable citizens and those requiring specific access to restricted funds. It is this third lot  for which i-movo has been selected, along with one other service provider.

In this area, it is estimated that savings of at least £5 per transaction can be achieved when compared to existing payment methods.

When accessing the RM3828 framework agreement, Government customers are not required to undertake a full OJEU procurement, saving time and money. Customers will simply need to identify their requirements, undertaking pre-market engagement where appropriate, present these to suppliers selected for the framework, evaluate supplier responses against their pre-defined evaluation criteria and award a contract. The agreement is simple to use with advice available from CCS and is valid until 28 October 2021.

The agreement is fully legal, compliant and in line with EU procurement regulations. EU procurement regulations introduced in 2006 and updated in 2015 specifically recognise framework agreements as a legitimate route to market. This reduces procurement risk for buyers and reduces bureaucracy in the procurement process.

Tip: Check your spam

Sometimes our e-mails end up in spam. Make sure to check your spam folder for e-mails from The Payments Association

Tip: Check “other” tabs

Most modern e-mail clients now separate e-mails into different tabs. For example, Outlook has an “Other” tab, and Gmail has tabs for different types of e-mails, such as promotional.

Tip: Click the link within 60 minutes

For security reasons the link will expire after 60 minutes. Try submitting the login form again and wait a few seconds for the e-mail to arrive.

Tip: Only click once

The link will only work one time – once it’s been clicked, the link won’t log you in again. Instead, you’ll need to go back to the login screen and generate a new link.

Tip: Delete old login e-mails

Make sure you’re clicking the link on the most recent e-mail that’s been sent to you. We recommend deleting the e-mail once you’ve clicked the link.

Tip: Check your security policies

Some security systems will automatically click on links in e-mails to check for phishing, malware, viruses and other malicious threats. If these have been clicked, it won’t work when you try to click on the link.
