SUMMARY:The Evolving World of Wallets
DESCRIPTION:The UK is undergoing a ‘seismic shift’ in how people pay (Nikhil Rathi\, CEO\, FCA)\, with wallets on the rise to become the default payment type for many. This raises questions around interoperability\, infrastructure and regulation and the strategic opportunities for payments organisations. When non-financial services like Apple Pay\, Google Pay and Paypal have the strongest hold on the wallet market\, what does the evolution of wallets say about the changing payments landscape?  \nJoin this expert panel for insight into:  \n\nAre wallets at a popularity tipping point? Why now? \n\n\nWhat do businesses need to consider when building or adopting wallets into their offering? What infrastructure needs to be in place? \n\n\nHow well does current regulation support the development of digital wallets?  \n\n\nHow does the evolution of wallets intersect with other emerging models and revenue streams such as embedded finance? \n\n\nWhat could the growing uptake of wallets mean for the rest of the payments industry? Who are the new players to watch out for? \n\n  \n14:00 Welcome remarks from moderator  \n14:10 Panel Discussion with Live Q&A   \n14:55 Closing remarks  \n15:00 Finish   \n  \nConfirmed Speakers
