SUMMARY:PSR Workshop on the Unintended Consequences of APP Fraud Rules
DESCRIPTION:PSPs are working hard to be ready to comply with the PSR’s new regulations aiming to prevent APP fraud by October 7th 2024. But the devil is in the detail: often the consequences of implementing new ways of working only arise once changes to processes\, operations and technology are implemented in practice. \nSo the PSR is keen to identify the unintended consequences of the new APP fraud prevention rules now that PSPs and their service providers are implementing the changes required. \nThis event is vital for anyone who fears that the impact of the new rules will not be entirely positive. And who believes that highlighting these fears now will allow the regulator to at least be open to tracking these unintended effects\, and possibly make changes to prevent them from happening in the first place. \nBy attending you will benefit from having your voice heard and sharing your expertise with a listening regulator.
