SUMMARY:Financial Crime 360 Roundtable: Women In Financial Crime
DESCRIPTION:At Financial Crime 360 this year\, we are bringing together women across the industry for an open\, collaborative forum to exchange ideas\, amplify their perspectives\, and build lasting connections in financial crime compliance and innovation. \nAccording to Fintech Futures\, women make up only 30% of the fintech workforce in the UK. This is a significant gender gap that needs to be addressed. Additionally\, according to a report by Deloitte\, women represent less than 10% of leadership – both as founders and as executive boards of fintech firms. \nWe need to provide more opportunities for women to thrive in the industry. \n\nWhat barriers or biases continue to limit women’s progression into senior leadership roles in the payments industry\, and how can organisations actively dismantle them?\nHow can the payments sector create greater visibility for women’s expertise and ensure that diverse voices influence industry standards\, innovation\, and policy?\nHow can organisations in payments better support women in entering high-growth areas such as digital assets\, cybersecurity\, and AI?\n\nJoin our roundtable to hear from leading voices\, share insights and experiences and explore the future of financial crime prevention through the lens of women driving change in the field. \nYou must be registered for Financial Crime 360 to attend this event. If you aren’t registered for Financial Crime 360\, your registation for this event will be denied.

SUMMARY:Financial Crime 360 Workshop: Tackling Fraud in Merchant Payments
DESCRIPTION:Fraud is now one of the biggest costs and risks for merchants. From APP scams to chargebacks and refund abuse to regulatory pressure\, the cost of fraud continues to rise – not just in losses\, but in operational overhead and customer trust. At the same time\, merchants must modernise their infrastructure and adopt the new payment options that customers demand\, all while ensuring resilience and security. \nThe Boardroom series is an opportunity for peers to come together and candidly discuss shared issues and collaborate on solutions. Join this session\, designed for merchant payment professionals and led by an expert facilitator to dig into emerging best practice and common challenges. \nThis roundtable will explore: \n\nThe true cost of fraud: chargebacks\, APP fraud\, regulatory compliance\nBest practice for fraud prevention: tools\, vendors\, and collaborations\nStriking the balance: keeping customers safe while avoiding friction at checkout\, and different risks across different payment methods.\nInfrastructure considerations: building resilient systems to support fraud controls\, multiple PSPs\, and emerging payment options.\n\n  \nYou must be registered for Financial Crime 360 to attend this event. If you aren’t registered for Financial Crime 360\, your registation for this event will be denied.
