SUMMARY:Now\, later or never: Can CBDCs be the silver bullet for cross-border payments?
DESCRIPTION:Register here\nWe will set the scene of this session by exploring some of the key cross-border challenges that fintechs and financial institutions are currently facing\, from limited instant payment structures\, high transaction costs and regulatory complexity. The session will move on to how the emerging technology behind CBDCs could solve some of these issues such as speed and liquidity.  The panel will weigh this up against the interoperability challenges CBDCs present due to parallel projects by central banks\, as well as general cross-jurisdiction regulatory challenges.
